In the U.S, 292.4 million tons of solid waste was generated in 2018, out of which only 25 million tons were adequately disposed of. With the percentage of waste material increasing, the demand for an efficient, agile, and modern waste management solution has increased as well.
The unimaginable amount of waste produced daily in the U.S (4.9 pounds per person per day) is perhaps the biggest reason for pollution and other critical health-related problems. Therefore, to modernize and reinvigorate the waste management industry was Waste Connection’s motivation to get an app designed for the waste management market to help the world go to zero waste.
